Cordie Reyman Sharpe became a believer early in life. She had married an unbeliever, so she was spiritually single. Over many year she prayed for Jack to accept the Lord and he was baptized shortly before his death in 1998. Cordie kept journals of her prayers. These were discovered following her passing. What a great testimony of fervent prayer.
Cordie was a grade-school principal when she retired. She was generous in putting her dollars where they could help the most and blessed many in the process.
Following Jack Sharpe's baptism, he wanted to go outside and take a walk in the night. It was like he was seeing the star-lit heavens from a whole new perspective. It was truly like "he was raised to walk in the newness of life."
